Javier Milei to Meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Javier Milei, the prominent Argentine politician, is set to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. This meeting marks a significant step in Milei’s international diplomatic efforts and highlights the strengthening ties between Argentina and France.

On June 19, President Javier Milei will hold his first official meeting with a European leader since taking office. The French head of state will receive him at his residence in Paris.

During his visit to the United States, it was announced that President Javier Milei will meet with his counterpart from France, Emmanuel Macron, on June 19, marking his first official visit to a European country. The Mercosur-European Union Agreement and accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will be among the agenda items.

The bilateral meeting will take place at the Élysée Palace, the presidential residence in Paris. Milei will travel there after participating in the G7 Summit to be held in Italy from June 13 to 15, invited by host Giorgia Meloni, an ally of the international right. At the G7, Milei will meet with other world leaders such as President of the United States Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Before the G7 trip, President Milei is scheduled to attend the Peace Summit organized by Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, on June 16 in Switzerland.

In June, Javier Milei will visit Borgo Egnazia, Italy, to participate in the G7 Summit, composed of the United States, Germany, Japan, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy, which will be held between June 13 and 15.

As the second stop on his return to Europe, and despite the escalating conflict with his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sánchez, Milei plans to return to Madrid in mid-June to be honored by the Juan de Mariana Institute.

He will do so on the 21st of that month, as part of the Freedom Dinner to be held at the Casino de Madrid, during Freedom Week.

The final destination will be Hamburg, Germany, where he will be awarded the Hayek Medal, named after Nobel laureate economist Friedrich von Hayek, on June 22.
