The AUD/CHF forex pair sees price action upon the release of monetary policy and interest rate decisions by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and the Swiss National Bank (SNB). Whenever either central bank announces a hawkish monetary policy or hikes interest rates, it strengthens the respective currency. Some of the important economic data releases that affect the value of this pair include GDP, employment, inflation, business sentiment and trade balance.
On average, the AUD/CHF currency pair experiences a movement of around 60 pips.
