CZ Responds as BNB Excluded from U.S. Crypto Strategic Reserve
President Donald Trump’s executive order for a U.S. Crypto Strategic Reserve has caused a spike in digital asset prices but one notable absentee has raised eyebrows—Binance Coin (BNB).
The new reserve includes Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), a big expansion beyond Bitcoin. But BNB with $86 billion market cap was not included in the list.
The omission has caused speculation within the crypto community with some thinking regulatory issues may have played a part. Meanwhile BNB has gone up 3.3%, XRP, SOL and ADA have seen double digit gains. Bitcoin has surged past $90,000.

Binance Founder Urges Patience, Sees Future Inclusion
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) responded to the speculation by saying on X (formerly Twitter) that the initial selection was U.S. coins, such as XRP whose parent company Ripple is led by American CEO Brad Garlinghouse.

Some Binance fans were disappointed but CZ urged patience, saying Trump’s comment left room for more assets to be added. But the executive order specifically mentioned Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) as future additions with no mention of BNB.
Other Countries Will Establish Crypto Reserves
CZ also said other countries will follow suit and create their own Crypto Strategic Reserves that may include BNB.
According to CZ, the trend of state backed digital asset reserves is happening and BNB’s role may be more important in international initiatives rather than in the U.S.“More will be added over time,” he said. “More countries will.”
For now BNB holders will just have to wait and see if the U.S. adds more to the reserve or Binance’s global presence gets added to other reserves globally.
