Binance confirmed its commitment to the Terra Luna Classic ecosystem by announcing it’s supporting the network upgrade. The exchange will pause deposits and withdrawals on the Terra Classic network on February 25, 2025 at 14:00 UTC. The upgrade will happen at block height 22,176,864 at 15:00 UTC on the same day.
Binance said trading will remain unaffected but all technical requirements for the upgrade will be handled internally. Once the network is stable post upgrade, deposits and withdrawals will resume without further notice, giving more confidence in LUNC’s future.
Key Features of Terra Luna Classic Upgrade
Terra Classic v3.4.0 brings many improvements to efficiency and security. One of the main changes is the removal of fork modules and integrating all logic and code into an optimized repo.

Multisend Tax Handling Fix also improves transaction efficiency by fixing reverse charge implementation issues. Validators must upgrade their Go to 1.22.12 before updating the client. The upgrade doesn’t affect the chain’s state so smart contracts and existing apps will continue to work.
LUNC Community Approves Another Major Update
Beyond Binance’s backing, the Terra Luna Classic community recently approved another critical software upgrade. The proposal, titled “Terra — 4834 | Msg Software Upgrade v2.15.0,” was submitted on February 24, 2025, and focuses on vital bug fixes to enhance network stability.
With the combined support of Binance and the LUNC community, market sentiment surrounding LUNC has strengthened. Analysts speculate that these developments could catalyze a price surge, attracting further investor interest.

Despite the downturn, market analysts remain hopeful about a potential breakout, predicting LUNC could reach $0.0001. Meanwhile, LUNA’s price was down 11%, mirroring the bearish sentiment across the crypto sector, while USTC experienced a 12% decline.
