CropBytes (CBX) Coming to MEXC and Bybit Today
In a press release, the CropBytes team announced that a CBX token that ties into the CropBytes game is launching today on the MEXC and Bybit exchanges. CropBytes is a crypto farming game that has been around since 2018, and it has a complex economy that combines matured and liquid markets.
As it launches at 12:00 PM UTC, a huge response is expected from the game’s userbase and the cryptocurrency market. Only about 6 million CBX tokens will be made available initially, driving demand through rarity. The CBX token will play a crucial part in the CropBytes metaverse, whose economy takes its cues from the real world.
CropBytes Working Toward Decentralization
The CBX token marks an important Step for the CropBytes game and its larger metaverse, moving it toward decentralization. The game is already available on the Appstore and Play Store, and its sustainable economics are powered by the CBX token. Within the game, players can do different actions to help expand their CBX assets, like produce trade goods, care for animals, and grow crops.
The idea behind adding CBX into the game is that it will produce real value through a link to a virtual currency. 400,000 registered users on crowd bytes have been waiting eagerly for CBX to launch, but it’s not the only way that the game will link to digital assets that have monetary value. After the launch of the token, the game will start introducing NFTS and build on asset tokenization as it continues to work toward the goal of true decentralization. Over the next few weeks, the CBX token will become more and more integrated into the game.
The addition of the CBX token to exchange platforms MEXC and Bybit is happening at the same time that the token is integrated into the game. This opens up the potential for a much larger game userbase, with more than 10 million users across the two platforms.
