Coinbase Supercharges Solana’s Infrastructure
Coinbase just upgraded Solana and it’s a big deal. 5x more block processing and 4x more RPC performance thanks to async tx processing and bare metal servers. Lower latency, faster confirmations and smoother experiences for devs and users.
As dApps, NFT platforms and DeFi protocols demand more, Solana can handle it all.
We’ve been hard at work scaling our @Solana infrastructure to be faster, more resilient, and more scalable.

Canada Launches First Spot Solana ETFs with Staking
On the institutional side, Canada just took a giant leap. Purpose, Evolve, CI and 3iQ just launched four spot Solana ETFs with staking rewards—the first in North America. These ETFs give investors direct exposure to SOL’s price plus passive income from on-chain staking, all in a regulated framework.

It’s a big deal that could bring in new institutional capital and legitimize Solana in the eyes of traditional finance—especially in a year where ETF demand is hot across the crypto space.

Price Watch: SOL Nears Key Resistance
SOL is at $134.70, up 1.24% in the last 24 hours and 4.5% since April 16—the day the Canadian ETF launch was announced. Technically SOL is at resistance at $136.24, support at $130.94.
A break above that $136 zone could be the start of another leg up if volume comes in on the back of the ETF news.
Key Points:
Coinbase’s Solana upgrade is a big deal.
Canada’s new spot ETFs with staking are institutional access and passive yield.
SOL is testing resistance at $136.24, with momentum and sentiment growing.
Bottom Line: With upgrades, ETFs and a good price chart, Solana is looking good. If it keeps going it will make new highs.
